History

Heatherloch Municipal Utility District (the “District”) of Harris County, Texas, is a political subdivision of the State of Texas located in the northern portion of Harris County, approximately 18 miles northwest of downtown Houston, adjacent to FM 1960/Cypress Creek Parkway west of Stuebner Airline Road. The District contains approximately 361 acres of land and provides water, sanitary sewer and drainage service to 530 single family lots on approximately 181 acres located in Old Bridge Lake Subdivision, Woods of Wimbledon Subdivision Sections 1 and 2, Brandonwood Subdivision Sections 1 and 2, Marble Gate Subdivision, Edinburgh Estates Section 1, all of which homebuilding is complete, and Mittlesteadt Estates, where homebuilding is ongoing. There are 19 homes under construction and approximately 4 vacant lots available for home construction in Mittlesteadt Estates. As of August 20, 2018, the District had approximately 511 active single family connections. In addition, the District provides water, sanitary sewer and drainage facilities to serve seven multifamily apartment facilities containing a total of 1,672 units and approximately 13 commercial connections consisting of Champions Forest Baptist Church and Chelsea Square Shopping Center. Approximately 7 developable acres of land in the District are not presently provided with internal water, sewer and drainage facilities. Approximately 23 acres in the District are undevelopable consisting of streets, easements, permanent flood plain, parks and recreational space and a water plant.
